The apartment is located in Amsterdam city center on a quiet street between Singel and Herengracht. 7-minute walk from to Dam square, Central Station, and Noordermarkt. The apartment is situated on the top 2 floors of a traditional, Amsterdam house. It's a homey, amazing space (60m2) with an open floor-plan and suitable only for someone with experience in shared living.
On the first floor, is a bathroom, large living room, and kitchen. On the second floor are 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom is separated from the hall by a curtain and the second bedroom is shared by 2 people and divided in half by a curtain. So, there's visual privacy in the house, but no sound privacy.
The bedroom for rent is 10m2 and in the shared bedroom. We all share the rest of the apartment equally and there are 2 desk spaces downstairs and extra closet space in the hallway upstairs. The bottom 2 pictures are of the bedroom. To the right of the bed (off the picture) is a ladder for roof access, the washing machine (also partitioned off with a curtain), and the door to the room. We're considerate with running the washing machine (just at times that are ok with you). Also, the person in the other half of the shared bedroom has to walk through yours to get to her side, but she's considerate about that as well - and you can put up a curtain around your bed if you want.
