We will be arriving in Amsterdam on April.22nd and leaving on May.10th (total of 19 days).
We don't need a lot as far as space goes, as we will be out and about visiting and sight-seeing for most of our stay. A small one or two bedroom appartment or a room with a queen-size bed would be perfect...(we're best friends and don't mind sharing a bed for our stay). We are extremely clean, tidy and respectful.
Our friends live around Amstel Station and Centraal Station, so something around Amstel/Wibautstraat or the City Centre would be preferable...
As far a cost goes we're not really sure what we would be looking at...we don't need anything luxurious...and are looking for something fairly priced. A lot of what I've seen has been priced per night or per month. Maybe we can negotiate something for our 19-20 day stay?

I have been living in Den Haag for the last 3 months, but as an artist it ends up that a good amount of my work is in Amsterdam, so I would like to try living there temporarily before making the move.

I would be happy to view the apartment soon and solidify the plans - I travel to A'dam a lot so I can swing by to meet in person.
It would be 3, 4 months as of January, so I can save up money for a trip. Longer/shorter is of course negotiable. However it must be mega-cheap otherwise it's not worth leaving my house in A'dam.
I will be of no trouble - I work, study, etc in Amsterdam so I just need it to sleep/rest. I am 25 year old, Dutch, male.
During the time that we stay in your house, we will be more than happy to do any chores, take care of pets and plants, and things like that. We will also pay to compensate you, of course; we can afford something around €300-400 or so.

We are both 28, very respectful and have great references. We are open to housesitting, taking care of pets, doing small renovation projects (painting, organizing, cleaning, light construction) and landscaping (gardening, exterior painting etc) between us we have extensive experience with these kinds of projects. We would do this in exchange for completely or partially subsidized rent depending on the amount of responsibility involved.
