We are located on a very quiet street, but within 10 minute walk from the Anne Frank house, and 5 minutes from the famous Saturday market (with fruits and vegetables, second hand clothes, book and craft stalls). We are right on the border between Westerpark and Jordaan neighborhoods, and close to caf�s, restaurants, the big park (Westerpark) and stores.

It has one separate bedroom with a double bed (loft bed). A large bathroom with a bathtub. A piano, TV and 2 large cozy couches to read and relax on after a busy day visiting the city.
There is also a garden, as we are on the street level.

We accept obediant pets but ask if you smoke to only smoke outside in the garden.
We would ask for a security deposit that would be returned at the end of your stay.

I have internet connection, there is (cable) TV/ DVD. The apartment recently renovated so very new and comfortable inside (central heating, double glass etc.)

About the area: it's very centrally located in the beautiful Gouden Reael area (close to Jordaan), only a couple of meters from the canals. There are nice shops, restaurants, cafes and cinemas/ theaters and a park all around. Public transport is very good, but you can also walk to may places.

About me and my cats: I am a journalist and will go on a holiday. Mika (m, red) and Diesel (f, black) stay at home and are a lot happier if they're not alone. They're very sweet and don't need special (mediacal) care, just company and food.

A viewing can take place anytime after October 27th. I am looking for someone to move in anywhere between November 15th and February 1st. If you have a car, it is free parking here in Muiderberg. You are within 30 minutes in the centre of Amsterdam. With public transport it takes about 45 minutes to Amsterdam Central Station.
The rent includes gas, electricity, central heating and adsl. It does not include the use of the phone as it is our business phone, so you need to bring your own mobile phone or use skype if you have that. And you will need to bring your own computer.

Also, if you like to work in the house, it is also possible, we have 25 Mb internet access, and a separate study room, so you can work in quiet, with the privacy of an office.

The apartment has a comfortable couch, 2 TV�s with a DVD-player, international channels, 4 movie channels and sport channels. We have a balcony, a small and a big roof terrace, with lemon trees, figs, kiwi fruit, and roses.

The apartment is about 60 m2 and situated in Amsterdam Westerpark, a 5 minutes bike-ride from the Jordaan (center). It is a quiet, safe area, with nice bars and restaurants and without the noisiness and the tourists of downtown center.
