SIKU plastic Firetruck with ladder, four firemen, catch net, and hose that originally shot water. (please see photo of rubber pressure bulb).
This model was released in 1951. It serves as a sort of predecessor to the plastic models that came onto the market in 1954 (which were much smaller, closer to Hot Wheels size).
It is quite rare today, especially because the metal brackets and the net are still present. It is complete with the windshield and the original box.
The firetruck and its parts are in great condition; this original box is well worn.
This is an excellent collector's piece. We have been in contact with the SIKU museum in Europe, and have been advised this is, indeed, a rare find.
Asking $300 (American dollars) or254.16 Euros, or best reasonable offer.
Buyer will receive a copy of the SIKU museum's letter, confirming this information.
Serious inquiries only. Will ship with buyer paying shipping fees.
